ahhh your right ...cought cought i ment 8 watts better go fix that . but really my cb is only modded to about 35-40 wats...untill i flip on the lineier that is .

and op
for best results hool it up to your battery and find a solid ground so you dont get engin noise

and the factory mic sucks get a astatic mic with gain control

Here is another vote for the Wilson antenna's. I run a Wilson 1000 and it works fine for my stock radio. The 5000's can handle more power though if that's the route you are going. Most note everyone but most I know with cb's use Wilson antennas. They seem to be a great choice.

ive left my radio on all night before, but i had 4 batteries too. ive got 4 radios, but none hooked up in my ram yet. ive got an old TRAM radio that still has the tubes in it my grad father gave me, a cheap midland, a uniden and my cobra 29LTD Black chrome. the later has alota work done to it and i had about 10 mile range on it in the big rig.

Haven't received them yet, but ordered a firestik FS from rightchannelradio.com this week. Plan on mounting it on the third-brake light - light mount. Still studying what kind of CB to hook up to it though.

Had a firestick on my previous truck! Bought my cobra NW 29 and the firestick from them...Great company to deal with...very customer friendly they will be sending you emails to make sure everything is ok with your purchase!

where can i find some stake body mounts for dual antennas? where have you guys run your cables out the cab to the bed where the antennas would be mounted?

hey if anyone is interested i have a magnut mount willson 1000 brand new . i couldnt run it with my set up because i needed the wilson 5000. so if ya want it cheap pm me .. its brand new with all hardwear no drill its a magnut mount
