Exclamation Question for those using DSP

Ok, Ive got my DSP and I have a serial to serial cable. However, my laptop doesnt have serial so I bought a serial to usb off ebay and it came in yesterday.

it came with the CD for the drivers and I loaded it and installed them. I connected the USB but it could find the drivers. I directed it to look in the C:/windows/system and system32 folder where the drivers where installed but it still couldnt find them

So I copied the exe for the drivers on the desktop and extracted the files from the exe file and manually directed the "update drivers" from Device Manager to them and it still says they cannot be found. I tried the Prolific Drivers from DSPs site but those didnt work either. Will you guys please take your CDs and copy the files for me and send them to my email pls? Maybe those will work
