I forgot I put a different barrel in it, it used to have a regular AR-15 handguard with a mock gas tube.

Radar detector? Move to Orlando, if your white and not driving a ricer you'll never get pulled for speeding

Nice! I'm guessing it's military issue given that it's not semi auto only? Plus the ACU, Army right? I like the aimpoint too.

Ive got a cheap model cobra and it works great. People some times forget it's a radar dectector not a cop dectector. Idea is that u pick up a trace of the signal when cop is on someone else giving you some time to slow Down by the time he's on you. The laser jammers don't work at all. Scam.

Quit spreading around misinformation. RADAR jammers don't work (and are highly illegal).

Laser jammers DO work.

It's not worth getting it confiscated, getting arrested/cited, going to court, paying the court fees, paying your fine and/or serving some time in jail AND having a criminal record. BUT, that's up to you.

only bell and valentine work. you get what you pay for. i was in a car where the guy had a cobra, it beeped, and 2 seconds later we were getting pulled over. my best friends dad had the same experience with a cheap kobra from target or something.

bells (the $300 plus) and valentines give you plenty of heads up. the valentine will even tell you where its coming from. but those are the only two i would ever trust. if you avoid one ticket it pays for itself in one use.

this is coming from a highway speeder, and i have tons of friends who are the same way.

Then leave it up on the dash when you get pulled over and you can explain why he didn't read your speed (hence, the reasonable suspicion for the TS). They are illegal if you do not have an FCC license to operate them since it scrambles the signal of a laser by law enforcement. That is why they are legal in states IF you have an FCC license. If you don't, the police agency will contact the FCC and the operator of the vehicle will get fried.
