Steve, where did you but your eyelids from. I just know you said 06+ you can buy them. I like the way yours looks, that is how I would like mine. I dont mean to keep repeating myself but I dont wan tto mess anything up. It seems I could jus but silver paint tape off what i want to and start paintin. I just thought you could buy them, paint them and stick 'em on.

Nah I wouldn't stick them on unless they are made for the headlight like the 06+. What I did was taped off my headlight on a diagonal angle and sprayed VHT Niteshades on the exposed area of the headlight, about 5 coats to ensure that the light will not go through it. Once it dried I painted over it with blue paint to make it blend in with the truck. There are no pre-made eyelids for 02-05's so I made my own eyelids this way.

bama, just make sure to try to use the nightshade. If you only use silver paint unless you coat them MANY, MANY, MANY times, you will have a little bleeding of light through them. Just a thought.

what do you guys think of these? I want eye lids also so should i order these and have them color matched or should i just do the vht/paint on mine?

edit:

also do you think i should just keep the eyelids black since ive already painted the inside of the lights black? would that look good or should i do the color match? ill try to photoshop the 2 and then u decide
