Default leveling kit, i searched

I really did search i just couldnt find the answers i was looking for im hoping to find someone whose done this same stuff. Im wanting to put a leveling kit on my 2007 1500 2wd. Ive heard if you put more than a 1.5" it messes up your suspension. I found a 2" on fat bobs website but is that going to work? and do i need new shocks? or would it just be better to go with the 1.5? I pull a pretty heavy boat alot so is this even a good idea? If anybody has pictures of trucks theyve done this to it would be awesome. thanks and sorry if i kinda repeated any questions that have been asked alot

if you pull a big ol boat i wouldnt do a level ..reason is the factory rake is ment to help even out the load while towing . if you level it you throw it all off . unless you air bag the rear you would be ok

+1 That's true about the rake of the truck. You can also do an add a leaf or helper spring to keep the rear of the truck from sagging as an option instead of bagging. Air bags IMO are the better choice though.

It also depends on how big this boat is.......
