Default Upcoming Mods

Hello all,
I've got a 2004 4.7l 1500 2wd that I received as a Christmas gift. Since It is only a 2wd I've decided to dump a lot into aesthetics and to a lesser degree HP gain. My goal is to get her up to at least 250hp anything after that is just a bonus. Any input on modifications that you think should be made based on experience would be great.

Performance-
Gibson Dual Cat-back (already installed)
Cortex Programmer
Electric Fan
Brute Force CAI
E3 Plugs

Aesthetic-
20'' MB Senna Wheels
Spyder Brake Light
Spyder Headlights
Spyder Taillights
Grillecraft Black Chrome Mesh Inserts
Ram Ornament

Fluids-
I'm currently running 5w30 M1 Synth. but she is due for a tranny change and gear change so after comparing prices online it would be less expensive for me to run RP than M1 throughout so I'm going to give that a shot.

I'm currently in Carbondale finishing up my second semester at SIU and plan on installing everything else when I get back to GTMO (Truck stays with mom while I'm at school) this summer. So I will post pictures then.

Very nice, good to see another 2wd 4.7 on here. I'm not sure about the cortex programmer thing. Just what I'm reading about the programmers it's best for the 4.7 to use the superchips programmer. Someone will chime in i'm sure. Other than that, nice start. welcome.

Cortex is a model Superchips programmer. It was between the Cortex and the Flashpaq and I simply don't need everything that the Flashpaq has to offer.

Cams get some good gains and don't cost too much if you do the installation.

The Cortex and Flashpaq have the same tuning. The only difference is that the flashpaq can be used on only one model while the cortex can be used on several different models. Also, the cortex offers a warranty.

Did not know that. I was under the impression that flashpaq allowed for more trans. tuning. Thanks for the info.

Hey, I apologize........I'm more of a fix a motor in knowledge kinda guy, rather than a tuner. I guess I have to read up a little more on the tuner stuff. All the computer stuff has me a little off. I can turn a wrench with the best of 'em, but when it comes to the computer I have a lot to learn.
