I've got two ideas and looking for some opinions on them. The first I will tint the whole taillight and mask off the areas that are red as seen below and then paint them the body color. Yes, the mock up is elect. tape.





The second idea is tinting the whole taillight and putting this cover over it, the cover will be painted the body color. I will also take off the ram head in the upper circle, I think it is pretty easy to see that it is a ram.

 

i say tint the whole light housing... black it out! thats one opinion

 

Tint the housing. Don't be "that" guy with the tail light cover. The tint will look awesome!!!!

yeah, but gay guys sure do know how to decorate. I just dont know about solid black, I would kinda like some color on them. Would like to get some leds but for my truck there arent many choices, you can get the recons or the recon look alikes. So I'm trying to come up with something a little different.

what if you did it the other way around. the base would be black... and the 2 bulges would be red?
