What a douchebag. They probably just tweaked your fins and slapped it back in.

Yep that be my guess too, just upped the stall on the stocker. I doubt that you will get an actual APS TC in there unless they order one from them which will take a week or two for delivery. If all they are doing is upping the stall though dont expect much performance wise. Higher stall does not equal more power to the wheels, a higher stall on a stock TC = more heat in the trans.

I hope they get it worked out for you. AAMCO is a shadey company.

Nothing is in stone till I get her back... BUT, she is supposed to be done, and I will pick her up tomorrow!! I told them this evening that I wanted the paper work and the APS sticker that comes with the stall... I said what I wanted and I was willing to pay for it!! Why try to rip me off?!?

Edited: Chilled out, sorry guys..

Thats the scarey part taking it somewhere to do the work. Dont know what they are puttin into it til they hand you the bill. I hope they get it done right with the right parts istead of just adjusting the stall.

I thought I would chill out for a day or so before I updated this... I called them Friday, they said the stall came in and it would be installed that afternoon. I told them cool, I would pick it up Saturday morning and what time did they open. He said from 8-12. So the wife and I get up to go get it but I decided to call first because they didn't call Friday like I asked. Saturday I called several times and left several messages... No reply as of yet... I don't get it...How they, AAMCO, stay in business. Two experiences with them, 20 plus years apart, 2 separate shops and the same sorry service. Never again.

AAMCO always seems to have bad reviews. Let us know how it works out for you.
