I think it's an awsome idea. I wanted a dually Mega Cab but couldn't afford one. Being that my Mega Cab sits on a 2500 chassis, it should be almost a plug and play option. Huh, one more mod to add to the list.

There are so many things you can do to your 1500...why go there? It's a lot of work, nothing is going to match up and it the end you're going to have a truck that will have no resale value.

I know these post are old but did he ever did the swap I'm only asking because I have a 2004 dodge dully shell I was going take my dodge 1500 and swap everything over to the dully body the engine in my 1500 is a 5.9 what do u guy think I should do?

Do you have the dually VIN and ownership? It won't be worth it if you can't register it for the higher weight.
