Default I Know I Know...Not Another HID Subject

As the title says I have a question about HID's for my truck.. My problem is I don't know what to get but I know where I'll be buying them from (hidextra). Anyways my problem is which to get either the 6000k or the 8000k.

I asked them what the difference between the two were and it's the color and the fact that the 6000k are 200 lumens brighter.

which leads me to my second question is 200 lumens that much of a difference?

You can only judge what your 6000k will be like from looking at the guys who have bought 6000k from hidextra though, because every hid kit I have ever seen from different places usually ends up being a touch off on color from what another place might have. I know that my 6000k's have a touch of blue, but are very white still. As far as I can tell tuned93's hid's have a little more blue to them than mine, but bigpappaholts hid's are whiter than mine still. Thats just some advice, only look at what people who purchased from hidextra have to judge what you will get.

the reason you see most guys with 6k is because it is the clearest and most white with a touch of blue depending on the angle you are viewing from. More blue looks cool but isnt as clear on the road

alright thanks guys... Yeah I'd rather have the brighter and clearest of the two. But before I can buy anything I have to get a new front bumper.. I hit a little bit of ice and hit a trailer and put a nice dent below the fog light..

So If anybody is looking to get rid of a chrome bumper I will gladly take it off your hands.
