Anyone know what fits in the plastic along-gated(<-made that word up) bucket behind the seats of a single cab. Looks to be mounts where things used to be. Will try to get a picture.

I know what you're talking about, and i've wondered the same thing. looks like there are slots to fit something in there.

i know exactly what your talking about, i wondered the same thing when i had my regular cab. but its not for your jack

 

jack is under the pass seat....I have cut 1/2 ply wood to the dimesions of the slots to seperate my tools. Thiers a ample room for a storage, tow rops, circuler saw, sawzal, first aid kit, gloves, tool boxs, larger items like a chop saw will not fit, but finshing tackel, camping items, coleman stove, tent water coolers will.

On the new reg cabs, the storge bin is abought half the size as the 3rd gen Ram

 

My sub box takes up most of that area, but the sides are open enoughout to fit small items and tools in.

I really want to know what goes there. I was hoping it was a clip in levitation device to make my truck lighter. Guess I will just have to design it.
