Widest Tire for a 2500.
Please before i get crap from ramhunter or anyone one else i have been searching for few days reading all kinds of threads and so on and still havent found the answer im looking for. i have a 2009 dodge 2500 i want to run a 33x13.00r18 tire and i want to know since i have a solid axle if i can run this wide of a tire up front with no problem. while i was searching i found that some guys are running 35s on 2500s with no lift kit or anything. if that is the case what is the widest tire that can be run if that is the case. i like the wide tire look with out a lift. that is what im going for. thank you for all your time.
what the hell does that mean? ??? and for the record it wont work . 13 is to wide for a stock rim (if you are running the stock rim) max on your stocker is going to be a 11.50.
now if you have aftermarket rims?? if you have the correct BS you can do it .
and i wouldnt have givin you crap this is a good question

okay ram i sorry for the comment. just seems like your quick to point out the fact that people dont search and i have been looking for the answer to this question for about a week now. i also have a lot of guns my self and do lots of hunting up here in alaska so im not scared of him. just dont want to **** anyone off that is all.
thats what im having a hard time figuring out is the proper back spacing of the wheel. im going to run new wheels. i figured it out if i want to run 13 wide i need a minim of 9 wide wheel that is per toyos web site. i dont want to be slinging a whole lot of rocks and stuff im going to run the toyo open country ats. i hear they do great in the snow and on wet pavement. so any if on the proper back spacing i would need would be greatly appreciated. also 35s wount work unless i level it out correct? thanks again for your time.

I ran 33x12.5s on my stock rims with no problem. After the 2" level kit 35x12.5s also were not a problem. The 35s on aftermarket wheels (rock crawlers) did rub a little when turning off road.

10 " wide rims are maxed at 12.50 so you need a wider rim . ..now if you have a 9" rim and put 13.50's on them dont turn to sharp or you are going to blow off your beed and be into some damage controll . i would do a 10.5 or 11" wide rim to be safe with 13.50's.
and for the record 30ish guns aint nothin why do you all think i have a arsonal lol
