If you are talking about the headliner being tan, my truck is the same way (with charcoal interior). My 94 truck was the same way, as is my sister's Intrepid. Seems odd but I guess it's a Dodge thing. Maybe because 10 acres of black headliner would make the interior too dark.

My '04 Ram is the same. It doesn't bother me at all, but yes I believe the reason is that it would be far to dark in the interior if everything was black. As far as switching it goes... well the headliner is the easy part, take it to an upholstry shop, the other pieces just snap or screw in so you would just have to find all those parts in black from the dealer or a junk yard. If they are even available

You should be able to find black paint made for painting plastic. That would me much cheaper than replacing the panels that aren't black. You would just have to install a new headliner.

If your talking headliners, you can get headliner material at some fabris/sewing stores. I had to redo the one in my 96 Dakota. It was actually pretty easy.

I've got black/charcoal and I always thought the top part was a light gray. Never really bothered me though. Let us know how everything turns out.
