Default Tick Tick Tick Hemi...

Not to beat a dead horse but did we ever conclude what caused the "Hemi Tick" ? A search brought up everything from valves to pushrods to exhaust issues. After crawling underneath my truck the tick i have sounds like an exhaust issue....maybe with the headers or manifold. I can hear it at idle or if im next to a concrete wall...stepping on the throttle lightly makes it tick faster, but not louder. Give it too much throttle and you cannot notice it over the engine. It is not always present. It is not load based. It is not present when driving around town. 30,000 miles ago i changed to Royal Purple. It didnt help the tick. What do you think it is and/or what does your tick sound like, and did you get the issue fixed?
