if you want, let me know what subs you want, the brand, the money your willing to spend and i will give you a link to the exact sub/ amp you need. if your planning on running 4 subs on one amp than be sure you have a huge amp becuase its either wired to .5ohm 1ohm 4 ohm or 8ohm. it sounds confusing but it really isn't. id prefer two subs to make it a little easier.

With the windows down my 3 8" TANG BAND PRO PRO PRO PRO PRO audio subs will out do anything anyone in the chromed out car audio business will do!
I am being serious..before u spend a ton of money on JL or Kenwood or MTX or Kicker u need to look at the numbers and the bigger the size of the sub is not everything...
here are the pis of my reverse mounted 8" tang band PRO audio subs in my regular cab.
oh and i forgot to mention that they are only $80 a sub.

no..u dont get it...this is a high quality sub. my dad owns a custom home speaker building business. all him and his competitors use is pro audio speaker components like this...that is why they use them in $20,000 home theater speakers...they are not name brand and trust me man..im not trying to sound like a know it all..but you cannot compare what mass produced speakers sound like compared to pro audio stuff... pro audio is like a category of audio equipment that is only used by people like concert hall autitions and recording studios. the only problem with them is you have to make the boxes PERFECT..like size, depth, volume...

well im going to be sticking with kickers and probaly 10's now that i have em... i just want it to be loud like real loud and am affraid the 10's wont pull it off because im so used to 12 inch subs..... so im thinking ether 4 10 inch l5's or 3 12 inch l7's and another question when im building the box what you think would be better have the subs facing the back seat or make them come out the top of the box like that one picture above??

okay with my experience, subs facing towards you like facing forward you can feel the bass more but the sound isn't there. subs facing up is the same way but less, but firing down to the floor is the loudest and facing backwards is loud too. i don't know why but thats just how it is. i would have them down firing. also make sure the resistance from the subs to the amp is either ay 2 ohm or 4 ohm, most amps arnt stable at 1 ohm or .5 ohm.
