Best thing to do is get the code by turning the key on and off 3 times fast and keep it in the on position and a code or codes will flash on the lcd odometer screen. Write em down. Then come here, click search, and type the codes in and you'll find out what's wrong.
* dont actually start the truck! just on-off-on-off-on and then they'll pop up on the screen. itll show it for like 3-5 seconds then show another if there is one and then itll sayd done. hope that helps

you shouldnt get an engine code unless you pulled/cut the wrong wire.
for whats its worth for those that have done this, did anyone else feel like they lost something when not wot? I feel like i lost a ton off the bottom end. i feel like it takes more gas to get moving, and accelerating is a lot more sluggish. theres definitely a gain at wot, but at the expense of losing some any other time.
to solve this, im gonna cut that wire and put in an in-line switch in the cab, so i can turn the TQ mgmt off when i go WOT (aka pull the wire, do the delete), but keep it regular when just driving around.
I was reading that you need some TQ mgmt, right around 8-10% is ideal. its what the guys with the new 3865 and other model years are doing, instead of illiminating alltogether

yeah i guess theres a liitle in normal driving. i was planning on doing the switch but just havent gotten around to it yet. i did notice with the 91 tune that the lag wasnt there anymore. i tried it out last night on the highway and it seems i barely had to give it any throttle for it to start moving. even uphill.
