Ok so its my birthday and im now 200+ dollars richer. I've decided on gettting shocks. I need suggestions on what kind to get. I would like to set a ceiling price of 175 maybe a little higher. i still need to pay the insurance this month.

you lifting or lowering? if your lowering go with Nitro 2 Drop Shocks hands down... i dont know much about lifted shocks though

Try somewhere like shockwarehouse.com or call around. Bilstein's are good as well as Rancho, but I'm pretty sure those will be out of your price range.

Enjoy it, as you get older at least for me it just becomes another day. If you have kids like I do, the one thing I look forward to is their mother takes them to her folks house so I can have a day of peace and quiet. LOL

You have struts on the front of your '08. We have a much more limited selection than the earlier gen 3s.

I just put a set of Rancho 5000's on the front of mine, but they were $218 shipped from Moe's. Bilstein's are also available, and I believe Monroe Sensatracs. Rancho and Bilstein's both offer lift's (2" over I think) or stock height.
