Default Leak after sitting over night

There seems to be a leak on my Ram it sits over night and i remote start b/c its been kinda cold out noticed some fluid marks on the new driveway parents are not o pleased. I looked around nothing is dripping/leaking and leaving marks anywhere. I believe it to be red while narrows it down to tranny fluid or antifreeze. When looking at the truck head on it is on the a little off center to the left side (passenger), any hints are greatly appreciated. Thanks Stephen

Try looking at your transmission cooler. Looking at the truck it's on the left side in front of the radiator. Check your lines and the cooler real well.

That's true because it's ATF. Something else to look at....maybe the steering rack.

hmmm. the power steering has a cooler rt below the tranny cooler tho rt? I did notice that on the tranny cooler line there was some gunk from i assume being wet and debris staying on there.. but would the tranny fluid come out while the truck is warming up? i mean its only on for like 5-8 mins. i will keep you updated when i find out what it is! thanks

would the steering rack leak when there isn't any excess pressure on the system like i said the truck is just sitting there.

My 2004 Ram 1500 is doing the same thing. I believe it is the rack leaking where the hose goes into the rack. I put in some power steering stop leak a few days ago to see if that helps but I am not holding my breathe. It is leaving a very small spot under the truck if it sits for a few days. Let me know what you find out about your problem.

of course it would leak when it's warming up. That's when your transmission fluid is under a small bit of pressure. That's how the fluid circulates with a pump. that's probably when it's most likely to leak unless you had a bad seal on your tranny pan.
