Default Reflexxion hood delivered today...but has scratch...need advice

Hey guys,
Finally got my Reflexxion hood delivered today. Well I open the box (very carefully) and I see what appears to be like "rock rash" right in between the cowl. Hopefully, you guys can see from the pics. They are on a camera phone with a flashlight in the garage.
I really dont know anything about body work or paint, but I was obviously going to get the hood painted, so is this something that would be an easy fix? Could it be smoothed or sanded out and then painted over with no sign of it being there?
I really dont want to ship this thing back, but if thats what I have to do, then I will. I could use some advice on this.
I got it from Auto truck toys. You think I should call and see if I could get a partial refund so it can be repaired.
Sorry, kinda pissed off right now.
Thanks for the help.

Any body shop can make it disappear. Just let them know it's there.

oohh, man id hate to say return it and wait all that time for them to ship it back, id just pay the extra money to get it fixed at an auto-body place. i cant see it costing more than say 50 bucks...

yep. send those pictures to auto truck toys and ask for some money back. get the auto shop to take care of that... it'll be REAL easy since you're painting over it anyway.

yep. im not even sure they'll charge extra for it, unless its pretty deep and they have to fill it.
