If you look at the factory intake tube, on the backside, there should be a sensor. That comes out, and there should be a hole on the backside of the new intake tube. The sensor goes in that hole, and the thats what the plug goes to. There should also be a rubber grommet that holds the sensor in there. Make sure you have the sensor turned so the airflow hits the sensor deadon.... Ill try and search for a layout for you, but thats about the jist of it

By the way, what brand CAI is it? Maybe you could just google the instructions for it (if they didnt come with the unit)

Kind of threw me for a sec, I'm thinking "cable, on a CAI?" I forgot about that sensor.

I bought the cheap Chromeintakes off of ebay. The pictures are in black and white and i can't find out where the hose hooks up to in the pic. If you could find that layout it would help alot, ill go out and hook it up right now lol.

Hey i just checked the OEM intake and didn't find any sensor on it, looked front and back. You sure your not talking about the 4.7 engine?

Well, my personal experience is with the 4.7, as I havent done anything with the Hemi yet. But as far as I know its the same for both motors..

http://image.moparmusclemagazine.com...ntake_tube.jpg

Heres a pic of an aftermarket tube, grommet, and sensor, for the Hemi

Heres some install directions for an '04 Durango with the Hemi. Slight difference in design, but a Hemi is a Hemi. Scroll on down, you'll see the pics of the sensor Im talking about. http://www.goairaid.com/images/produ...es/300-943.pdf

Edit again: First you say cable, then you say hose...... You sure you know what you're talking about?

If you are not replacing hte Hemi hat, then you should not have to relocate the IAT sensor. It connects to the hat....the only thing you have to worry with is the oil breather tube.
