Default 2007 Ram 1500 Hemi - Engine Noise

Hello. I hope someone within this forum can help me. I just purchased a used 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad / Hemi. The truck has 16,000 miles and is set to come off warranty in about 2 weeks. Shortly after I purchased the truck I noticed there was a buzzing / bearing like noise coming from under the truck just under and behind the engine. It's hard to describe the actual noise but one this is for sure is that it is not a normal sounding Dodge Ram 1500. I have had it into the Dodge dealer and they say that they can hear the noise but are unable to determine what it is or where it is coming from. I had it in the shop for about 1 week while they tried to figure it out. The net of it is that they said that once the noise got worse they would take care of me but until then they had no idea. With this said, I need 1) suggestions on what the problem might be and 2) suggestions on how to deal with the dealer to get the noise and problem fixed now while it is still under warranty. Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No idea about the actual noise, BUT........You need to get ahold of the service manager and the gm of the dealership in person and tell them something IS wrong with that truck and they have to make it good. It's under warranty. They just don't want to do the free labor/parts because they know you're gonna have a problem after the warranty expires and you will then be a paying customer. Even if they have to pull the motor and do a rebuild, they have to make that truck right. Don't leave there until you're satisfied. Send emails to dodge 10 times a day explaining your problem and that the techs know there's a problem but they won't do anything until it got worse, and you DON'T want it to get worse before they make your truck run like it should!!!!!! Give the dealer hell and don't leave until you've got a good running truck. At 16,000 miles that truck should be as strong as the day it was driven off the lot. Sorry about the rant, stealerships just p!ss me off. Good luck.
