I what to buy a new air intake but i do not know what kind to buy short one or the one that comes out to where the air box is now any ideas?

make sure u get one that eliminates the hemi hat. Check out the faq's section there is one about cai.

gotta disagree, i had the tube on my truck, and for the extra $50 bucks? or w/e its worth the full system. the tube was nice and made a little noise, but a full system is definitely the way to go.

Its the big plastic box that attaches to the throttle body. It's the black box on top the engine in the picture below that says Hemi 5.7 V8. Basically it's only purpose was to tone down engine noise, but it really restricts the air flow robbing you of HP and MPG. Just one of those comfort over performance things.
