after your muffler you would have a pipe maybe 5-6" long and it just has an elbow to it to direct the exhaust down so it's not blowing all over your rear end, brake lines, etc. Also gives it a pretty good sound. You can buy them or have a shop make one for maybe $20? It's cheap but it looks clean with no exhaust showing and sounds good.

heres mine. gibson super truck. its dirty but they are polished SS tips.

anybody else have a sound clip of turn down exhaust, and think thats the way am going to go but I wonder how load is it really going to be
