So is a 180 t stat or a power wire mod better?

 

Either mod apparently causes an open loop condition to broaden the injector pulse. Also looks like a spark advance also occurs. O2 sensors are not read in open loop configuration and the PCM does not adjust the injector pulse for exhaust richness. WOT also puts the PCM into an open loop configuration. Fuel economy must suffer, but driveability seems to improve.
