has anyone that didnt have a overhead console from the factory make one or buy an aftermarket? and how did you mount it?

 

Just get one and wire it in, it isn't hard.

 

i am lookin to make one so i can customize it the way i want. i am not lookin to put the trip computer and those bells and whistles on it. i was also wondering how they are mounted....screws or what

 

Bracket in the roof. The console screws and snaps into it. A custom job sounds cool.

thanks for the link daniel. i am bout fed up with my truck bein stock and i am gettin enough hours at work, tax refund, etc to start playin. almost everything will be custom may take a lil trial and error. its gonna be called project ebay/craigslist/bad a** hookup through my buddy who is a dealer. the things that can be made will be.
