what is this "power wire" you guys speak of?
the mod bug is extremely easy to catch and impossible to rid

your not lyin, i quit my job a month ago cuz i am getting ready to deploy and ive done more to my truck in the last month... than i have in the last 2 years. not only is this elusive "mod bug" attracted to money. it also comes round whenever it smells boredom.

Haha nice man. Looks like you got some goodies coming your way. This is what a lot of guys like to run for their t-stat. I've heard a lot of mix reviews about going down that low unless you are running LT headers, etc. . The stock one runs at 203* I think. My stock one has lasted nearly 130,000 miles and kept me happy so I think Ima stick with it.

I'm running just a K&N drop in air filter in addition to the Airaid MIT system. I liked the idea of keeping the stock airbox to prevent most possibilites of getting water damage and I'm also using a Airram Jetstream scoop. It's been working alright for me.

while you are changing the timing chain you might as well throw a cam in there... how many miles are on the truck?

mm- power wire is a resistor that tricks the PCM into thinking the air is about 22* cooler... it only works at WOT. do a search damit! lol
