Hi all. I am so pissed right now. I just got done washing my truck and noticed that the paint is peeling off the 'scoop' on the hood. I do have other chips and scratches in the front end, but this is not normal. Its happening on both sides of the hood. Anyone else have this problem? Have you talked to Dodge about it and what did they do? AHH!!! Its so annoying!

I'm going to call the dealer tommorow and see what they say,

maby u shud try not scrubbin so hard when ur washing your truck...

Its red. Its not even from the scrubbing as I use a very soft brush. Its only in the corners inside the crease between the edge of the scoop and the scoop. Hard to describe. I will try and post a picture as it is kind of hard to describe. Its strange how it hapens on both sides and not just one. On one side, I figured it could have been something I have done, but on both sides?

Do you have one of the SRT hoods on it? I'm not sure of the "scoop" you mean. I haven't had any chipping or pealing so far.

I have a sport though and do not have that hood. I have the stock one. I thought SRT hoods were aftermarket unless you had a Rumble Bee.

Hmmmm, I did not realize that, I'd never even head of the "Hemi Sport" package. I bought my Ram used, and all it said was Sport package and it had a Hemi motor. Guess they aren't the same thing. Dodge has waaay too many packages. Big Horn, Thunderroad, Hemi Sport, Daytona, Rumble Bee, gets damn confusing.

I've seen some NASCAR edition F-150's...most retarded thing I ever saw. They were the older body style, with black hubcaps, and a colorful checkered stripe down the side....bout it.
