i need more power
dont rag to much on us 4.7 guys. i love eating up hemis on a daily basis. my modded 4.7 is a killer. but also in a 2005 dakota, the silent killer is the 125 shot of nitrous. its amazing how the owners look over an laugh an say, hey doesnt that truck come in an adult size. i just laugh, flip the switches an wave my hand out the window as i pull away. even without the nitrous its close. little bugger runs high 13 seconds just over 101 mph. love the hemis an the way they sound, but at my 20/22 mpg. i will stick with the dakota
thanks, yeh. and shiloh, it's a k&n filter in there with a regular air cleaner setup. i was thinking of piece'in together a turbo setup for her, probably this summer i guess. want to keep it low budget. will tig weld up an aluminum compression box to fit over the intake, and run tube down to the turbo which i'll just stick in the exhaust tubing. wont have super high psi or anything, but it will sound good and add a bit of boost. i'm guessing i'll suck about 7psi if i do it right.
btw, where is cherryram's response to all of this? :x

oh, just to point this out to everyone on here... just remember. stock hemi = pwn. were all talking about modded 4.7's with nitro, and modded 360's. put the same $ into the hemi, and hemi = epic victory on you. lol.
nice numbers, I guess I just got a slow version of the 5.9 I think mine is closer to 8-9 seconds to 60. Not sure the ignition will make that big of a difference. I dont know?
I also cant make the data logging work on my tuner.

edit: a modded Hemi might equal total pwnage BUT, if you bore out a 360 to 408 holy sweet jesus the possibilities are endless. lol

My question is this: Is the speedo accurate? If it's off even by a small amount it'll make a huge difference in calculated 0-60. A logger is only as good as the information it's fed!
Doesn't anybody run 1/4 mile? A timeslip would put an end to all the speculation, both for the trucks and the Camaro

The SC re-tuned the speedometer for 37" tires when I did all the initial tuning. The speedometer is perfectly accurate.
Secondly, why would I run the 1/4 mile in my lifted dodge ram on 37's? People just didn't believe me when I said I kept up with a hemi, so I had to show some proof of time. I'm not out bragging.
