what the heck is this???????
i have been workin with weed on this lift block thing and he has givin me some real good pics of his but his is a 1500 and mine is a 2500 and look totaly different. hear is mine...what i cant figure out is what the 3 little leafs are under the overload??? i plan on putting blocks on her , i guess this is normal and i just put them under them little leafs?? this is all factory BTW. maby this is how a 2500 is ,,,,i dunno
Get rid of the little leafs and get a 2 inch block. I've bought a few rough country 2 inch blocks locally for 50 bucks in the past, not sure how much they are on line. I had a new set I gave away 2 weeks ago that I woulda sent your way.
i have 2" blocks im adding ... i dont want to get rid of them and have it the same hight with the 2" new block . can i put the blocks on them is the question i guess. if i knew i had to get rid of them i would have gotten 4'' blocks
You can stack em. I don't like to but I have an 80 F-250 that was given to me and it has two four inch blocks in the rear welded together, and leaves like you've got there and blocks to lift the front. It's the ugliest chit I've ever seen seen but I've been pretty hard on it without a problem yet.
I see no reason you couldn't put your new blocks ontop of those. if the new blocks are steel, you could have a bud just slap a couple of beads on each side to hold the block right to the factory shims. granted your new spacer u-bolts are long enough to reach?
ya the new u bolts are for a 2" block ...and they sent them with the kit knowing that this is the stock set up i have with these baby leafs

Are you positive thats factory? Normally Dodge 2500s have the lift block with the peice coming off the side for the bump stop to rest on. You'd have to be saggin pretty bad for those bump stops to rest on the axle. I don't guess I've spent to much time under a third gen 2500 hundred but the 2nd gen trucks had blocks.
