when i put my superchip on it didnt work so i had to send the ECM and the tuner to them well it turned out something wouldnt work between the two so now i got my ECM back and my truck still aint working, when i crank it up it idles really rough and then just dies if i give it gas it will stay crank but as soon as i let go it dies and idea of what could have happen

 

is your check engine light on at all? Be strange acting like that and not throwing any codes. Sounds like an EVAP leak? Hard to say really

 

there no check engine light, it happen when i insalled the superchip ..they sent it back to me back to stock but it does have a weird smell coming out the exhaust

 

They might have it running super lean or really really rich with their so called stock tune they sent you back. I would send it back and see if they make it right with ya.

 

it had one code on it P0156 i believe where it was already running rich or lean ..is there anyway it can be fixed without sending it bck?

 

I don't think you can do ne thing else. They screwed with the computer and if you take it to the stealership their gonna ream your *** for messin with it.

 

yea i know it , the air/ fuel mix was to rich thats what code it had before i put it on

My truck is still running but my SuperChips still "ain't". If it gets to the point they want me to send my ECM in, I'm going to be looking a refund. Ron and the tech guys have been very nice and as helpful as they can be and they do seem to be committed to making it right. However, it's going on 2 weeks now and I've been given one fix that didn't work. I'm starting to get concerned about it. The last thing I want is for them to try something to make it work and end up killing my truck. On the other hand, I feel like they know that, so I hope it all works out.
