Neverdull will get runs and the surface coloration out, but you must grind down the pitting and spray some paint over it. after you grind the small area(if the chrome is bubbled) tape off a square and primer that spot. then peel the tape off and re-apply tape a smidgen wider than the primer and spray chrome paint on it.
I doubt it would be more noticeable than actual rust.

He says the same as some of the other guys, use #000 steel wool or better and then brush on a little clear on the spot when your done to seal it up, at the very least wax it. Good Luck

I use sos and brillo pads on rust on semi trucks all the time, I dont know if the bumpers on these trucks are the same material though, another thing I found works really good is to get a degreaser and a dobbie, (no-scratch pad) one of those ones thats yellow that you can use to scrub dishes and scrub at it with the degreaser and the dobbie, it seems to be a little less abrasive and keeps the rust from coming back better than the sos pads do. Just an idea from my semi-truck washing experience, I have to deal with rust all the time, its just a day to day thing on those beasts with the mileage that they put on.
