Default Over heating

Just replaced antifreeze, new thermostat, new fan clutch and new heater core. My dodge ram 4.7 is still trying to run hot especially going up hills. Turn on heater and it cools down. Thinking of replacing water pump even though no signs of it going bad. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried this, but I saw on TV where a shop did a Hydrocarbon test using coolant from the overflow tank. It was simple, quick and indicated if there was leakage between the cooland and engine cylinders. Good luck
