Thats very true, and thats kinda the reason why I don't want to go much taller with mine other than a body lift.

All you guys need to do is get you a decent aftermarket LSD. I am still amazed with a few friends I have in Ga. with lifted 2WD trucks. The lift is necessary because of ruts and such in plowed fields and around the farm in general.
A LOT of these guys hog hunt in some pretty nasty places and seem to be able to go 80%+ of the places I can go.
The LSD is the key for them. Two guys I know have Chebys with the same GM LSD differential they use in the Z71 4x4s and it works 500% better than a Chrysler time bomb...

Hammer do you think that a "lunch box" locker I would see a decrease in everyday drivability?

I think the best scenario is an air locker, but they ain't a cheap setup. A real good LSD would be my second choice and probably be 1/4 the money if not less.

Any true locker/spool/etc. would suck b*lls in a daily driver. I know they are better than 10-15 years ago, but everybody I know with one still ratchets around corners and the wear on components and tires coupled with the ride quality just ain't worth it IMO..

The ones in the front & rear axles of my Jeep are kick a$$, they are automatic, but computer controlled. I'm open till a sense in wheel slippage engages a hydraulic system to engage and lock the axle. From what I've read about the Quadra Drive II system, all 100% of the power can be sent to a single wheel with traction if need be. The down side: If it fails, it's a $2500 replacement PER AXLE!!!
