Anyone who saw my last thread about my level install knows it didn't go very smoothly. I saw that the coil isolator was not required with this spacer and what a difference that made! After the original install I was sittin at 8.5" in the front from tire to fender and 7.5" in the rear. I removed the isolator today and managed to bring the front down another .75" still a quarter inch high up front but it isn't very noticeable. Heres some pics of the difference with isolator and without.

Quite a difference, and after removing that the upper control arm issue of hitting the spring bucket isn't near as bad.



I just got done so it's kinda dark, but heres some pics I took out in the Walmart parking lot in my quest for light.





So to anyone who has purchased or is planning on buying the Fat Bob's 2" kit with Procrap shocks I suggest leaving off the isolator and hopefully it will work out for ya. Mine might still settle a little more but idk, I definitely need an alignment though!

 

Good for you man. Glad to hear you got everything worked out. I know you were having hell. Get that thing in for an alignment!!!

 

Only problem, is now my new tires look dinky as hell! I have a love/hate relationship with the mod bug.

 

Glad to see its better than before. I think Im going to get the 2.5" kit with rancho shocks and see how that does. I was going to put lift blocks in the rear already though. Glad you figured out it was something that you did, and not the kit as you originally stated.....you were frustrated, but that's cool.

 

looks good do u think i would be able to put the spacers i got on top? i can deal with a little more of a bumpy ride. just dont want to break anything

 

The spacers used in that writeup aren't as tall as mine and his still has a small nose dive if you look closely. The 2.5" will skyrocket your front end you'll need at least 2"s in the rear to get her somewhat level just fyi. Yea 08ramman I was pretty pissed off and I shouldn't have gotten that way especially since it was my fault but o well what's done is done. I will have to in the future upgrade to some better shocks though, these things freakin suck they bounce.

 

I dunno about the coil over Ram kits, but I got my coil over Jeep kit from Fat Bob's. Best price I found by far and installation is easy...

 

I'm not nearly as upset with it now, it sounds crazy but just takin out that isolator seems to have improved the ride quality ten fold! It's still slightly rougher than it was stock because of these cheapo procrap shocks but it's bearable. I think I'm gonna go take back the blocks I bought for the rear and use the money for alignment.

 

I had es3000s in my jeep they are fine shocks for light vehicles you must be pretty dainty if you think those ride firm.
