Why did you put in a 2500 rear axle instead of just replacing the **** lsd the first time with a dtt or something like everyone else, now you have to hassle with different bolt patterns and stuff? carry 2 spare tires depending on whether your front or rear goes? Do your rims match or are the fronts different then the rear?

Because the axle housing failed once and I did not need the headache a second time. Also I had 4 sets of pinion bearings go bad. The LSD never failed. It Is still good in the junk housing sitting on the shed floor. I have 2 spares, untill I figure out what to do with the front hubs. Two different wheel styles also, OE steel on the front, and 1980 ford with 86 Dodge dog dish caps on the rear. New spare hangs on the front reciever hitch. Who cares what matches, as long as it gets me to work on time.
