Throttle Problem
Well I have searched and searched, but I can' seem to find a definite answer. I have a 2003 Ram 2500 with the 5.7 Hemi. Starting a couple of days ago the truck would seem to bog down and hesitate when I pushed on the gas. The only exception was when I would have the throttle wide open and then it would accelerate hard and not skip a beat.
The shop I took it to first thought it was a leak in the intake gasket, but then decided it was the throttle body. Well $500 later and nothing has changed.
The only check engine light code listed was P0131 which was "low O2 voltage", but that was there before the problem began.....I did replace the O2 sensor twice and still get that code.
Anyway I am beginning to think its the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor, I have a shop manual, but I can only find how to remove and install, not how to diagnose if its actually bad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
