Default Anyone run Nitto NT555 Street tire?

Would the Nitto NT555 be a good tire for my 1500 with 4WD?

Thanks

I had a set on my old truck and they were nice, really stuck to the road, but they wore down REALLY quickly, maybe got 30,000 miles on them before they were done.

I would get the NT420s those are suppose to be MUCH better than the NT555s

I also love my 305/50/20 Yokohama Parada Spec-X's They stick to the road in dry and wet weather. My last set (275/55/20) got over 45,000 on them before I traded them in for the wider tires.

I hear the Nitto NT555 is a soft tire. I like the way they grip but I want to get a good amount of miles out of them. Maybe I don't need to run that soft a tire

The 420s are also suppose to be a softer tire and I think they get some decent mileage out of them. Mine are aslo a softer tire and ride really nice too

The other thing about the NT555 is they road a bit rougher than the ones I have now. Speed rating thought the NT555's are rated at 149+ I believe while the NT420s are only up to 130 (H rated if Im not mistaken).

I seen where the 420 were spouse to ride a lot better than the 555. they wear more evenly too
