What kind of gas mileage are you getting? Maybe that will tell you something.

Yeah, you probably need a good tune-up and TB cleaning. I just came back from a Georgia trip, about 1000 miles logged total over the last 3 weeks, averaged about 15.5 on the interstates running about 75 mph and around 12 in town. I am actually thinking I need to swap out the EGR valve (no CEL but it's the original with 47k on the truck) and do the TB as I haven't done it since my 30k tune up.
But you should be doing a good bit better, I've got a suspension lift with a full sub frame and with all my other crap (winch, grill guard, huge winch mount, etc.) I'm weighing in at a hair under 7000 lbs.

I think guys are going a bit over the top on this one. If I'm driving my truck and go up a steep incline, my truck slows down a bit if I don't jam on the gas to maintain speed. if i keep my foot the same position the truck slows down until it downshifts(takes forever in the Ram..ughhh, where's the superchips full control damm*t) and then picks back up speed.

Easy answer. What gears u got and what size rubber? I'm betting 3:55's with 20" rubber.

I'm assuming the hills aren't too big cuz his ferd doesn't have problems getting up them. That's why we feel theres a problem associated with the gravity.
