Not sure, I never had that problem. Have you done a compression test on the engine? If it's slowing that bad, seems like you are have some pretty big problems.

Thats just plain lack of power. How many miles are on the truck? have the plugs been changed lately? Air filter? TB cleaned?

yeah, that's not typical at all, I have had a Furd F150 with the 5.4 in it and I have my Hemi weighing in at a minumum 1000 lbs more than the Furd did and it would still eat the Furd for breakfast uphill, downhill, flat land, wherever...

If over 30K miles on the spark plugs, they need to be changed for sure.

Too many varibles to acurately diagnose. Tune-up, dirty air filter, damaged exhaust, emergency brake drag, low tire pressure, big tires.

around $2 a plug if you stick with the Champions that you can get anywhere. They're good plugs for the hemi. Get the champion stock number 570. The plug number is RE14MCC4, and the gap is .045. Could also look at the plug wires and make sure they arent cracked. I'd recommend replacing those too with that kind of miles.

If I were you, I'd also clean the throttle body too. Gear oil, transfer case, trans oil, motor oil, and brake fluid should get replaced. With those miles, I'd also suggest coolant and power steering fluid change as well.

What gears do you have? The 3.92s are fine but if you have the 3.55s, they'll be rough towing with.
