Default just did a throttle body clean!

man was there alot of residue in there got it all cleaned up and put back on can say i can tell a difference just runs and idles so much smoother just thought i would share haha!

it will its much better after a good clean, hope you have a good filter it'll stop alot more crud....

actually if you've ever taken the time to notice it's the BACK of the TB that gets cruddy as hell and the EGR tube is RIGHT THERE! Damn emissions crap!!!

can a new egr valve help out? what do those run?...and yes hammer the back is the worst i have noticed that....

My brother just changed his egr valve on 2004 hemi. It runs so much smoother, i could not believe the difference. Next time I do a service, might just put a new one on.

they run about $40 bucks at autozone .......... but how often do they did to be replaced

I got the one pictured above for the 04 hemi for $42.08 shipped. Not a single auto parts store around me had one in stock in either their warehouse or store. Dealer wanted like $75. Not sure how important they are in the 4.7s

The engine light will come on when it's time to be replaced. Usually people get around 50,000 to 75,000 miles out of em before the light comes on.
