Ok i recently ran into some money.I sold some of my sports memorabilia that I had more than one of. I originally was just trying to scrounge up some money for V. Day but the dude i was selling to apparently was a HUGE gator gan. ANyway i Have about 4000$ to spend on the truck. I dont wanna go any higher, this seems good for me, not too high and plenty capable. I know gears are prolly gonna happen and ill prolly swing my exhaust to a dual side exit. After that Im not sure where to go. Tires still have less than 5k on them so plenty of life. Already have hids, basically truck looks like i want it. Im not looking to turn it into a hotrod, its a 4.7 maybe if it was a hemi or ctd i would do that but not on this. Rps in everything, new plugs,it has a LOUD system. Help me spend this money on the truck. Id save it but why? Tax returns still gotta come in LOL so ill save that.

 

you could donate a cool $2k of that to the "Buy OlDirtyJohn a New Transmission Fund" other than that, id say get a DTT or selectable lockers along with your gears. maybe a torque converter.

 

I think the guys who wanted a torque converter may now be thinkin twice John.

 

Put up a winch setup. Upgrade the shocks, lift, NEW HOOD, Aeroforce Interceptor guage. I'll give you my address and you can mail me the remainder. Could put in some nice seat covers, LineX the bed, tonneau cover or Truck box, onboard air compressor, and of course, new gears and LSD.

 

air compressor, YEAH that reminds me i do need a BIG train horn to let people know that they pissed me off. I wanted a camper, but i haul too many things that would make that a hassle. Torque converter would be nice but after your story im not 100% on that. I might do shocks, but truck has only 30k on it and the stock ones are still good. Beds linexed, maybe i should do the rocker panels? does anyone have door actuated steps? i think thatd be up my alley

Your truck does look pretty damn good already. I kind of like the hoods with the scoop on them, a la SRT hood. Those are sweet.

 

I'd put a Venom Performance on there before I would a plain SRT 10 hood.
