need help with suspension

Default need help with suspension

ok I added 35's to my stock 20's and i raised the torchen bars (dont think I spelled that right) anyway the truck does not look level to me i feel like the rear needs to go up 1 inch maybe 2 inches and i dont know what to do. should i use a leveling kit or someone told me to get blocks put in my leaf springs i dont know what to do

If you can still clear the 35"s just lower down the t-bars a bit. If you can get the front level with the back and still be able to clear the new tires you won't need any blocks.

You have a couple of options. You could get blocks for the back, or like Shiloh said measure the wheel well heights on level ground and lower the bars till it's level.

but i want the back to look a little higher then the front and i cant lower the front it will rub when i turn. so what do the blocks look like where do i get them and will it be a rough ride

The blocks are just a machined metal block that sits between the leaf spring and the axle. I'll post a pic in a sec lemme go take a pic of mine.

You can pick them up anywhere. Weed got a set for his truck from Autozone for $30. I looked it up online and you can pick them up at that price all day long.

Heres the blocks I got from autozone, cost 30 bucks but the u-bolts are too small to fit around my rear axle.

O btw check out my smashed thumb in the second pic, damn pitman arm puller when I popped out the upper balljoint. Gave way and I slammed it into the freakin spindle! I can't bitch though, it's nothing compared to John's finger after the tranny fell on it.

now adding a leaf spring will that not let my truck drop when adding weight to the bed

That will make your ride stiffer and you'll be able to hold more weight in the back with less sagging.
