Default Quick E-FAN to A/C Question ?

I just finished installing my taurus E FAN with a hayden/imperial controller from Advanced Auto parts. My question is do i need to connect to the A/C clutch since it is seperate form the radiator ? The fan turns on at a little before half way on the temp gauge. I will plug in my superchips like teach says and set it to a certain temp tomorrow. I will post pics when i can. Thanks

You do not need to tie the e-fan into the ac. Unlike most vehicles, our ac has it's own e-fan.

Let us know how the fan works out for you, especially in the mileage department. How long did it take???

Default Fan works great

I have noticed about 1.5 mpg increase when in performance mode on my programmer. The motor seems to have more throttle response now too. Thank you to all of you guys for your posts and pics of your set ups. It really helped out a lot.
