Default Help~! Magnaflow has no kit for a 2008 Quad Cab.

So I called Magnaflow and their kits for 2008 are only for Mega Cabs, not quad cabs...so does anybody know what kit will fit an 08 QC? Will a magnaflow 09 kit fit? Or should I just do the muffler back?

Just get a magnaflow muffler and y-pipe and have a shop put them on.

Ya just get a custom one made at a shop. Cheaper and you can make it how ever you want to

I had a shop do mine and they installed an 18" Magnaflow muffler which turned out to be toooooooo loud. I took it back and they installed a 24" Magnaflow muffler and that size sounds just right. So, go with the 24".

YOU DO NOT NEED A CATBACK SYSTEM. Just get a muffler 3" SI/SO and that will do ya!

You can go the muffler route, we did that on my buddies truck, we just attatched the muffler to the long pipe off the ypipe and welded hangers to the end of the muffler and let it dump under the block.

But if you do want the actual cat back kit with the tip and everything.. The 06-07 kits fit the 08s, I had the same problem when I first bought my 08 and no one listed anything for it yet. I have magnaflow cat back kit 16696 on my truck..

I dunno why they are telling you that? Maybe they just haven't test fitted or verified to an '08??, but the 06-07 will fit an 08 as they are identical trucks. I think I remember mine saying 06-07 on the box but i'd have to check on that.

Here's my sound clip

I'd like to know how I get this double pic going on? only on this link though?

Here's what i have. perfromancepeddler has them, check Moe's Performance. just whatever you get make sure it's for an IFS. I picked mine up for $450 shipped. You can fab up for maybe half that if your handy??? Took me 10min to install once i got my old pipe off.
