anti slip axle
my truck is a 03 1500 hemi and has the 3.92 rear with "anti-slip". so when i jack up the rear both tires spin together. but today, in the snow, i knew the wheels were spinning so i looked back but only one was. why would that be? why wouldnt both spin together?
how hard on the gas were you? good tires? are you sure both weren't spinning,
i also have a hemi LSD (anti-slip) and 3.92 and have had to use my 4wd to move in the snow, the stock lsd isnt that good i find it's only good for doing burnouts on pavement lol

well i was stuck on some snow in a parking spot and was trying to get out. yea good tires. steady throttle as i was watching the one wheel play dead.
i doubt its bad. it doesnt make any noise. when jacked up it spins the same and freely. and the truck only has 33k miles lol
The stock LSD is probably the single worst one on the market. Besides the fact that the retaining clips fall of and break, often causing a major failure, it often needs "help" in activating. Applying a small amount of brake with the gas is usually enough to get it working, but that said, it doesn't take much torque for the differential to start slipping.
If you need true LSD performance, get you an Auburn or a TruTrac...

I applied my e-brake a little bit lightly when I was in the mud one day, I wanted to test it, I didnt put my truck in 4wd I wanted to see if I could get the lsd to work, and it did, the e-brake actually activates it quite well.
