well going to do it ...some of you guys pulled my leg . wanted the MC to roar so i narrowed it down to a cherry bomb. but cant decide on the pro or the extream? hear is what im going to do ..just the muffler and dump it right out the exit with a little tip. tucked nice and neat under the truck. now my question ?? i dont want it annoying but i want to hear a low *** rumble. your thoughts

 

Go with the extreme. Push it as far back as poaaible and dump it over the rear axle, it'll sound sweet!!!!!

 

I don't think you can loose with either one, the Extreme screams when you put your foot in it, and quiets down nicely to a low rumble when you are cruising

 

what one has less cab drone on the highway?

 

well I don't think drone is really a problem with any of the cherry bombs. The pro is probably the least aggressive CB, but that's not to say it's mild. The Extreme is, well, extreme. The Vortex is almost as loud as the extreme and outflows all but glasspacks...

i got my raceland cut out installed today and i LOVE it. put of a button i got straight pipe exhaust another push of a button and its stock quiet.

 

Extreme....Mine does not drone at all.

 

The extreme doesn't drone at all, I've yet to find a rev range where I don't like the sound.

 

well guess the vote is for the extream. any difference in the sound if i dump it right out the muffler?
