you only get a warranty from sharadon on their trannys if they install them . but they are pretty decent guys, im sure they would take care of me in the event of something bad happening

woah, i cant believe i missed this... i couldnt believe my eyes when i read this so i searched back and found your other post.
sorry to hear about your problems but i'm glad you decided to do things right and replace it with a good tranny, not another POS. if mine ever goes, i will be going to sheradon... is the sheradon just a beefed up stock tranny or is there more to it? i assume firmer shifts but are the shift points any different? is it just a plug and play? do you have to get your computer reflashed to recognise it?
i would like a little more info on this valve body too... i suppose my lazy *** could google it

i cant wait to see that trans in action John...

yes, the sharadon is a beefed up stock tranny. it uses more clutches, and they are made of a different material. like kolene or kevlar or something, not totally sure. the shift points arent going to change as they are controlled electronicly. they will be quicker and more firm due to the valve body. the valve body has the transgo HD2 in it already, and it flows more fluid at a higher pressure i believe.

it is mostly plug and play, but you will have to have either a dealership or tranny shop perform a "quick learn" for you. this lets your computer calculate the new CVI (clutch volume index) numbers. this will allow your new tranny to shift properly. without this, the computer will shift with the CVI #'s from your old tranny.
