Because I can't just leave chit alone...
Well I'm gonna take the MIG off the shelf again this week. After basically touching my exhaust once over the last 5 years just to repair a broken hanger, I am about to cut and weld on it for the 3rd time in the last 3 months.
Even though the "Y" adapter I picked up 5 1/2 years ago was a whole lot better than the stock one, it still is a bit pinched down where they join, not to mention it's starting to look like the rust on it is getting to be a little deeper than just surface rust.
So, I bit the bullet, broke down and spent a whopping $26 on a Magnaflow "Y" adapter yesterday. It is roughly the same length as my existing one so installation should be a breeze. Dunno if it's gonna make much difference in flow, but with it being stainless, it should be the last one I ever need to put on...

sweet. Just make sure you spray the welds with some high temp paint. I know the high temp pint is pricey but you shouldn't break the $35 mark...lol
ohh, and take some pics while your under there. We all know at your age it's hard to get back up again.

Ouch, thats a cheap shot below the belt. Ask him to come over and show him what a hot welding tip feels like
