Default stalling?

hi, i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7L, and in the morning or after i get off work my truck will idle way to low and cut off whenever i come to a stop or put it in reverse, even when the truck is good and warmed up it will idle pretty low when i stop, i took it to a mechanic and he thought it was the fuel system so he cleaned it all out, and of course he said it didnt do the trouble when he drove it, well its still doing it and it so frustrating, can anybody help?...oh yeah it has 64,000 miles on it and no engine lights come on when it does it either....thanks

Had the same problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Check the Idle Air Control Valve. The stupid part gave me nightmares in the daytime. Would start right up, drive down the street, then the idle would drop, accelerator would not respond, then suddenly lunge forward in a split second. Also, it would turn over but never quite engage, at times. I removed the IACV, cleaned it and Voila! The darn thing was cured. Well, at least until the next time it died on me...that was a different problem altogether. By the way, it never threw any codes when this would occur...give it a try.
