Hey don't get down on your self. If people didn't ever make mistakes there would be no need for insurance, right? At some point in time every one here on this board has made some sort of mistake.

Thanks for the reassurance fellas. Like I said, its kinda laughable now.

Oh, this isn't the first mistake Ive made in my time. My old ford caught pure hell. Dropped the cells in the battery trying to line-lock it, lol (31/10.50s+dry pavement+granny gear=LOTS of wheelhop, lol), bent the **** outta both tail-pipes while wheeling, then blew the motor, while mudding. SO, those few mistakes Ive definately learned from, this is just a 'mishap' per say.

As far as insurance, I'll just leave that be. I only have a $250 deductible, but Im sure I can replace it for less than that.... Thanks again guys, good to know we're all human, haha.

Yea that's why I didn't even worry bout my front bumper, I got dents all over now actually. I still got a dent in the passenger door from 4x2 wheelin, lol and a dent in the tailgate cuz there was something on the bumper when I dropped the tailgate. Plus a couple months ago a damn Kia pulled up behind me when I pulled too far into an intersection. I backed up and not seeing this matchbox car I freakin nailed it good. There was a nice square hole from my receiver punched in the chicks bumper, and my bumper took a small hit but nothing noticeable.

Know how you feel bro, I did the same thing backing up with my tailgate down on my old 1978 F-150 right into a concrete based light pole too. Base was about 3 foot in diameter and sits just under view because of the tailgate being down the pole was about 10 inches, ta da wasted .

Heres a story from my Wendy's days. I'm working the window and a lady is ordering at the sign out back, she's driving a newer Cherokee. I give her the total and she proceeds to drive forward. She has turned to far to the left and right into the new repeller post next to the building. Instead of stopping and backing up she keeps going punching in the front and back leftside doors. She gets to the window and says " Did you see what happened??" I say, trying to be calm, "Yes Ma'am I did, that will be $12.95 for your food" She gives me $15.00 and says "Well what is Wendy's going to do about it? Do you know who my husband is??" I'm fixing her change and trying NOT to be a smart ***, I say. "Sorry Ma'am I don't think we're at fault, you drove into our poles, and I don't know who your husband is.". She starts screeming and drives off, forgetting her change and her food.

Stay cool, Hope you get it fix and doesn't cost too much

Haha, great story bout the Wendy's lady

I guess Im at that crossroad now: get the bumper fixed/replaced, or go ahead with the level..... Which one ya'll think I should go with?

BTW, there really isn't any fixing this is it? I mean, even if I could get it bent, welded, and smoothed, Id be paying more then I would just replacing it, since I don't know how to do any of that...

Oh yeah, I pretty much knew there was no fixing this one, but folks were saying "good luck fixing it, hope it doesnt cost too much", I thought they may know something I don't, haha....

Wish you were there today to tell me that by the way!!!
